Star Wars: Galactic Racer confirms multiplayer and podracing features

Star Wars: Galactic Racer, developed by Fuse Games and Secret Mode in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, is confirmed to feature multiplayer functionality. While the game will not include cooperative modes, it will offer PvP (player versus player) online combat alongside a single-player campaign.

In the final installment of the ‘Under the Hood with Hibi’ video series, developers highlighted the inclusion of podracers, which are described as high-speed, high-risk vehicles requiring extreme precision. The game will feature various vehicle classes, including landspeeders, speeder bikes, and skim speeders, each with distinct handling characteristics. Podracing will be available through the single-player campaign, an Arcade mode, and dedicated online multiplayer events.

The title is scheduled for release on October 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
