Star Wars: Galactic Racer set for October 2026 release

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is scheduled for release on October 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. A new trailer for the title has showcased its multiplayer capabilities, including the Multiplayer Tour and Pod Tour modes. In these modes, up to 11 players can compete using various characters with unique traits and three different vehicle types. Players can also engage in contracts for spare parts and credits, or place bets on race outcomes for extra rewards.

The game is set in a post-Empire era where the Galactic Championship has emerged as an unauthorized racing circuit driven by gambling and underground syndicates.

In related news, the classic Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, remastered by Aspyr, is currently available at a discounted price of 5.99 Euro on PlayStation platforms until August 27.
