Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu merchandise launches in Japan

New merchandise related to ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’ is being released in Japan through two major retail channels.

Skater will launch a variety of lifestyle goods featuring Grogu and Wicket at the ‘Disney THE MARKET 2026’ event held at JR Kyoto Isetan starting September 16. The collection includes bamboo chopsticks, coasters, drawstring bags, and acrylic cups. Some items, such as the chopsticks and coasters, will be sold in blind packaging, where the specific design remains unknown until opened.

Additionally, TOHO Cinemas has announced the resale of highly sought-after movie commemorative items at its Shinjuku and Namba locations starting September 6. The resale includes five limited-edition items, such as AT-AT and Grogu-themed popcorn boxes and drink cups. Due to high demand, sales are subject to purchase limits and specific distribution methods, including the use of numbered tickets at the Shinjuku location.
