Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu to receive home media release

Walt Disney Japan has announced the home media release schedule for ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’. The film, which serves as a sequel to the third season of the Disney+ series, will be available on Blu-ray + DVD and 4K UHD + Blu-ray sets starting September 30, 2026. A limited-edition steelbook version is scheduled for release on November 6, 2026.

To promote the release, behind-the-scenes footage has been released featuring lead actor Pedro Pascal and executive producer Carrie Beck. Pascal praised the production's realistic sets, describing them as “the best I have ever experienced” and noting how they allow for complete immersion in the galactic world.

The home media releases will include various bonus features, such as making-of segments, explorations of the film's environments like the planet Shakari, and a look at the creation of the holographic game ‘Dejarik’.
