Star Wars themes featured in Trieste contemporary art exhibition

The exhibition ‘Beyond the Stars – The Art Side’ has opened at the John Reed Fitness spaces in Trieste, Italy. Curated by Alessandra Pierelli and co-curated by Paola Martino, the showcase features ten artists who reinterpret the visual heritage of the Star Wars saga through contemporary art.

Approaching the 50th anniversary of the original 1977 film, the project moves beyond simple reproduction of cinematic characters. Instead, artists use iconic figures such as Darth Vader, Yoda, and Princess Leia as starting points to explore personal interpretations involving art history, pop culture, and reflections on the human condition.
