Stara Pazova officials prioritize student safety for new school year

In Stara Pazova, local officials have met to prepare for the start of the new school year on September 1. The meeting of the Assembly of Directors focused heavily on the safety of students and staff.

Slavica Stošić, President of the Assembly of Directors for the municipality, stated that police have been monitoring school courtyards via active surveillance cameras for a month. Police presence in schools will continue through regular visits and inspections.

While most facilities are ready, construction work is ongoing at the primary school in Surduk, with completion expected by the start of classes. Some kindergartens are also undergoing adaptations, meaning some will begin operations after the school year has already started.
