Stara Zagora to host “Living Pictures” theatrical performance

The “Living Pictures” theatrical performance is scheduled to take place on October 6 at 18:00 in the courtyard of the Geo Milev Museum House in Stara Zagora. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Geo Milev Drama Theater, the Geo Milev Museum House, and the Center for Support of Personal Development – Stara Zagora, with support from the Stara Zagora Municipality.

The production features professional actors Maria Eneva, Milenka Sotirova, and Ilcho Dimitrov alongside young talents from the “GEST” Theater School. The performance brings to life characters and plots from three notable Bulgarian literary works: “The Peach Thief” by Emilyan Stanev, “Female Kingdom” by St. L. Kostov, and “I Am Not One of Them, How’s Siike” by Chudomir.

As part of the official celebrations for the Stara Zagora City Holiday, the event aims to present literature and history in an interactive way to encourage youth participation in local cultural life. Admission is free, though due to capacity limits at the museum courtyard, advance registration via email is required for groups and schools.
