Starachowice students participate in WWII poetry contest

Students Zofia Kenig and Dorota Szymczak from the STO Social Primary School in Starachowice participated in the 7th recitation contest titled “. . . gdy nad głowami świszczą kule” (when bullets whistle above our heads) held in Kielce.

The event, organized by the Kielce branch of the Institute of National Remembrance Educational Center, focuses on the poetry and prose of World War II. This year's edition featured 35 young reciters representing 27 different institutions. Kenig and Szymczak were the sole representatives from Starachowice.
