Starbucks Keeps Teavana Tea on Menus After Store Closures
Starbucks acquired the premium tea brand Teavana in 2012 and shut all standalone Teavana stores in 2017. Despite the closures, the company continues to sell select Teavana blends in its coffee shops and through online retailers such as Amazon.
Starbucks sources the majority of its tea offerings from Teavana, using the brand for hot teas, iced teas and shaken iced tea lemonades. While the chain may supplement some ingredients with other suppliers, most of the tea served in Starbucks locations bears the Teavana label.
Consumers can still purchase Teavana teas at Starbucks cafés, on the Starbucks website, and from third‑party e‑commerce platforms, keeping the brand available to tea enthusiasts worldwide.
