Starbucks Vietnam to suspend Visa and Techcombank promotions

Starbucks Vietnam has announced the temporary suspension of several payment-related promotions for the final three months of 2026. From October 1 to December 31, 2026, two specific incentive programs will be paused.

The first suspension affects eligible Visa cardholders. Previously, customers could receive free drink size upgrades from Grande to Venti when paying via digital wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or Garmin Pay. Additionally, a promotion offering a free pastry for bills over 120,000 VND at airport Starbucks locations using eligible Visa cards will also be suspended.

The second suspension involves exclusive offers for Techcombank Visa cardholders, which previously provided a 25,000 VND discount on Venti-sized drinks when using supported digital wallets. Starbucks clarified that these changes only apply to these specific programs and do not represent a total removal of all Visa or Techcombank-related benefits.
