StarDance 2026 participants gather at British Embassy in Prague

The upcoming 14th season of StarDance 2026 was recently highlighted at a press event held in the gardens of the British Embassy in Prague. The event featured all ten competing dance pairs, along with hosts Marek Eben and Tereza Kostková, and members of the jury.

Notably, the event marked a significant transition for the program as Marek Eben prepares to step down from his hosting duties after twenty years. Czech Television has also confirmed the long-term future of the franchise, stating that StarDance will return in 2027 and that a hall tour is planned for 2028 to bring the production directly to viewers in various cities.

Additionally, producers are exploring new formats inspired by international spin-offs, such as the American 'Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro', which focuses on the daily lives and personal stories of professional dancers in a reality-show style setting.
