STARGLOW releases hip-hop single ‘Slam Dunk’ ahead of debut album

The five-member group STARGLOW has released ‘Slam Dunk’, an energetic hip-hop single released on 26 October. The track serves as a preview for the group’s debut album, ‘Aurora’, which is scheduled for release on 18 November.

Choreographed by ReiNa of the dance crew RHT., the single features what the group describes as some of its most demanding choreography to date. The music video utilizes a basketball concept, featuring the members performing atop a basketball hoop suspended above a city backdrop to symbolize overcoming obstacles.

Since debuting in January under SKY-HI’s BMSG, the group has achieved significant milestones, including being the only Japanese act included in NME’s ‘100 Artists to Watch in 2026’. Their previous single, ‘USOTSUKI’, reached No. 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Digital Single Ranking. Following a recent crossover project covering Riot Games’ HEARTSTEEL, the group is set to embark on the ‘STARGLOW 1st Arena Tour 2027 Aurora - The Dawn -’, consisting of 14 shows across seven Japanese cities.
