The Japanese dance and vocal group STARGLOW has released the digital single ‘Slam Dunk’, a hip-hop influenced track that serves as a precursor to their first studio album, ‘Aurora’, scheduled for release on November 18, 2026.
Produced by David Arkwright and SKY-HI, the song uses basketball as a metaphor for overcoming obstacles. The accompanying music video features choreography by ReiNa of the dance team RHT, which is described as the most challenging in the group’s history. The visual production includes scenes of the five members performing on a basketball hoop structure set against an urban nightscape.
The group, which consists of members RUI, TAIKI, KANON, GOICHI, and ADAM, is part of the BMSG music label. Following the album release, STARGLOW has announced their first arena tour, ‘STARGLOW 1st Arena Tour 2027 Aurora - The Dawn -’, which will span seven cities in Japan starting in January 2027.
