StarHub and Bandwagon unveil 'Sounds of Home' soundtrack for Singapore National Day

StarHub and music platform Bandwagon have partnered to create "Sounds of Home," an original soundtrack built from field recordings of everyday Singapore locations such as hawker centres, playgrounds and MRT stations. Produced by Singaporean composer Fauxe and performed by local artists Rene, Krysta Joy, YAØ and Akeem Jahat, the track weaves familiar ambient sounds into a musical celebration of the nation.

The project is part of StarHub's "The Power of Pause" digital‑wellbeing initiative, encouraging people to step back from constant scrolling and reconnect with the sounds of daily life. "National Day is a time to reflect on what brings us together as Singaporeans," said Lin Liangmin, Head of Brand and Communications at StarHub. Clarence Chan, founder and CEO of Bandwagon, added that the collaboration showcases how sound can tell stories and foster meaningful connections.
