Starlink begins accepting satellite internet orders in Vietnam

Starlink, the satellite internet service operated by SpaceX, has begun accepting orders in Vietnam. Residential service plans start at 1.13 million dong ($43) per month, with hardware costs of 8.66 million dong. Corporate subscriptions start at a minimum of 1.48 million dong per month.

Vietnam is the sixth Southeast Asian market to access Starlink, following Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and East Timor. The service is being provided through a local unit, Starlink Services Vietnam, which was established in September 2025.

The Vietnamese government previously announced in March 2025 that it would allow SpaceX to launch the service on a trial basis, waiving foreign ownership limits. This trial period, which runs through the end of 2030, includes a subscriber cap of 600,000. Authorities have also authorized four ground gateway stations for the service.
