Starlink offers free equipment upgrades in Mexico, imposes stricter travel rules for Argentina

Starlink, the satellite broadband service of SpaceX, announced that eligible customers in Mexico can receive a completely free replacement kit that includes a new antenna and third‑generation router. The program targets users who reported performance problems and aims to ensure compatibility with newer, more powerful satellites.

In Argentina, Starlink revised its international usage policy. The service now limits travel connectivity to 30 consecutive days and removes overseas access from the lower‑cost Itinerante plans (100 GB and 300 GB). To use the service abroad, customers must verify their identity with a passport‑style document and a live selfie, and they are steered toward higher‑priced Priority or Global plans that allow longer or unlimited overseas usage.
