Starlink satellite train spotted over the Canary Islands

A line of lights observed in the skies over the Canary Islands was identified as a Starlink satellite train. The visual phenomenon was caused by 29 satellites from the Starlink 10-19 mission.

The satellites were launched on Tuesday, August 11, via a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Because the sighting occurred only hours after the launch, the satellites had not yet dispersed to their final orbital positions, creating a distinctive 'train' effect of luminous points moving in a constant direction.
