STARTO ENTERTAINMENT countdown concert to stream globally on Netflix

STARTO ENTERTAINMENT and Netflix have announced that the “COUNTDOWN CONCERT 2026-2027 STARTO to WORLD” will be exclusively live-streamed on Netflix on December 31, 2026. This marks the first time the concert will be broadcast simultaneously to more than 190 countries and regions, and it is also a first for Netflix regarding a Japanese music live event and year-end countdown concert.

The concert series, which began in 1996 as a charity event to support reconstruction after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. The Netflix production will include not only the main concert but also a pre-show scheduled for December 2026 and a “Behind” special following rehearsals and backstage moments, expected in late January 2027.

Details regarding the participating artists and specific broadcast times have not yet been released.
