STARTRADER increases client fund insurance to USD 30 million

STARTRADER Financial Markets Limited has increased the aggregate limit of its client fund insurance from USD 1 million to USD 30 million. The new coverage, effective October 1, 2026, is underwritten by Arch and other Lloyd’s of London syndicates.

The policy applies to available balances and collateral supporting open positions in the event of insolvency. It is designed to complement the company's segregation of client funds from company assets. According to CEO Peter Karsten, the increase is a governance decision intended to ensure the insurance ceiling remains adequate during extreme circumstances.

The higher limit will apply automatically to eligible clients of the Mauritius-based entity without requiring any action. Claims must be submitted to an appointed insolvency practitioner using an Investor Compensation Claim Form within 12 months of an insolvency event.
