Startup acceleration programs announced in Ivory Coast and Luxembourg
In Ivory Coast, 20 startups have been selected from 157 candidates to participate in an intensive fundraising preparation week in Abidjan. Organized by the Startup Ecosystem Support Program (PAES) in collaboration with CDC-CI Capital, Agence Emploi Jeunes, and Plug and Play Tech Center, the program focuses on pitching, legal frameworks, and investor strategy. Following a final pitch on October 24, 2026, ten winners will travel to Morocco in December to meet international investors.
In Luxembourg, 24 startups have been chosen for the 17th edition of the Fit 4 Start acceleration program, scheduled for the first half of 2027. The selection was announced during the Luxembourg Venture Days 2026, which saw a record 556 applications from 44 countries. The upcoming cohort will cover digital technologies, health tech, space, and a newly introduced defense sector aimed at supporting national sovereignty and the Luxembourg Defense Campus.
