Startup innovation programs launched in Argentina and Chile

Various innovation initiatives have been launched to support startups and entrepreneurs in Argentina and Chile.

In Argentina, Fundación Banco Nación and Endeavor have announced a search for Fintech, Agtech, or employability startups. The program offers a USD 15,000 prize, mentorship from the Endeavor network, and connections to the Banco Nación ecosystem. Applications are open until September 30.

In Chile, the Tantay Atacama® program, developed by the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (USM) through its 3IE Institute, has launched eight new innovation challenges. Funded by the Atacama Regional Government's Productivity and Development Fund, the initiative seeks solutions for companies including ENAMI, AGUNSA, SOTRAMIN, and Nueva Atacama. Participants, including startups and professionals, have until October 4 to submit proposals aimed at addressing industrial needs in the Atacama region.
