Startup Portugal opens applications for Road 2 Web Summit program

Startup Portugal and Web Summit have opened applications for the 11th edition of the Road 2 Web Summit program. The initiative aims to select and prepare up to 125 Portuguese startups for the upcoming Web Summit conference, which will take place in Lisbon from November 9 to 12.

Selected companies will participate in intensive bootcamps held in Porto and Lisbon. These sessions will feature training from investors, founders, and pitch specialists to enhance strategic competitiveness and the ability to secure investment, clients, and partners. Participants will also receive a 50% discount on Alpha or Beta participation packages, which include exhibition space and access to official competitions like the Startup Showcase.

Sponsored by Galp, the program includes two monetary prizes: 15,000 euros for the most promising startup and 5,000 euros for the best performer in the program. Since its launch in 2016, the initiative has supported over 1,200 startups. In 2025, the program supported 115 companies that collectively raised 40 million euros in investment.
