STARZ announces cast for untitled Black rodeo drama set in Texas

STARZ has announced several cast members for its upcoming untitled original drama series centered on a Black rodeo family in Texas. The eight-episode series follows the Clarke family and their regional rodeo business.

Key cast members include DeWanda Wise as Anaya Clarke-Reagan, the savvy mayor of Trinity City, and Tian Richards as Rodney Clarke, the impulsive younger brother. Shannon Wallace will portray Sebastian Clarke, a former bull-riding champion, while Curtiss Cook plays Elias Clarke, the family's estranged father. Other regulars include Lauren E. Banks as Wynter, Sebastian’s ex-wife, along with Liv Symone and Jason Dirden.

The project marks a significant step for STARZ in bolstering its wholly owned programming pipeline following its split from Lionsgate in May 2025.
