Starz Releases Trailer for New British Boxing Drama “Fightland”

Starz has released the official trailer for its upcoming series Fightland, a British boxing drama scheduled to premiere on July 31 2026. The show will stream weekly on Fridays via the STARZ app and all STARZ on‑demand platforms.

The storyline follows British‑born boxer Duke Kilroy (Howard Charles), who wins the world heavyweight title on the night his brother Calvin is murdered. Kilroy’s retaliatory actions land him in a U.S. prison for eight years. After his release he returns to London to avenge his brother by targeting the criminal kingpin and former promoter Kingsley Marshall (Nicholas Pinnock). The plot intertwines with a cartel vying for control of the city’s drug market and features Duke’s love interest Joy (Deborah Ayorinde) and other family members.

The series stars Anita‑Joy Uwaje, Charles Babalola, Tahirah Sharif, Tyler Conti and Richard Pepple. It is executive‑produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G‑Unit Film & Television – his first internationally produced series – alongside Francis Hopkinson, Kate Leadbetter, Daniel Fajemisin‑Duncan, Marlon Smith, Damione Macedon and Raphael Jackson Jr. Otto Bathurst directs the first two episodes.
