State Audit Office of Vietnam expands cooperation with four provinces

The State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) has signed a new coordination regulation with the provincial authorities of Thái Nguyên, Bắc Ninh, Tuyên Quang, and Cao Bằng to enhance the management and control of public finances and assets.

The updated mechanism expands the scope and responsibility of cooperation by including the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees. This move aims to integrate audit results more closely with local leadership, supervision, and governance. The regulation is intended to facilitate better information exchange, help identify practical difficulties, and ensure the timely implementation of audit conclusions.

Officials noted that this enhanced coordination is designed to strengthen financial discipline, prevent waste and negativity, and improve the overall efficiency of state resource management to support sustainable local development.
