State Bank of India announces recruitment for 9,124 Junior Associate posts

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a recruitment notification for 9,124 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) positions within its clerical cadre. The total vacancy count includes 7,680 regular posts and 1,444 backlog vacancies distributed across 24 States and Union Territories.

Eligible candidates can submit online applications between August 11, 2026, and August 31, 2026. The recruitment process consists of several phases: an online preliminary examination, an online main examination, a local language proficiency test, document verification, and a medical examination.

Applicants must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of April 1, 2026, and hold a graduation degree in any discipline. The preliminary exams are tentatively scheduled for late September 2026, with the main examination following in November 2026.
