State Bank of India launches cleanliness and green campaign in Rajasthan
The State Bank of India (SBI) Jaipur Circle has launched a series of cleanliness, environmental conservation, and public awareness programs across Rajasthan to honor the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The campaign commenced at Nehru Garden in Jaipur, led by Chief General Manager Omkar Nath Chaudhary. During the event, bank officials and employees participated in a collective cleaning drive and conducted tree planting to promote a greener future. To encourage the ‘No Plastic, Go Green’ initiative, cloth bags were distributed to citizens visiting the park, and participants took an oath to remain vigilant regarding hygiene and environmental protection.
Chaudhary emphasized that cleanliness should be a daily habit and a collective responsibility rather than a one-day event. The SBI Jaipur Circle intends to continue these activities throughout various regions of Rajasthan to foster a plastic-free society and increase social responsibility.
