State Cadastre Agency outlines property registration steps

The State Cadastre Agency has outlined the procedure for citizens to register ownership of houses built before 1991, as well as yards and functional plots, through the e-Albania portal.

To begin the application, users must log into their e-Albania account and select the service ‘Application for registration of ownership transfer by law, court decision, or administrative act’. After creating a new application and filling in the required fields, applicants should select the sub-service ‘Registration of ownership transfer through the administrative act issued by ASHK’. This process automatically includes services for issuing ownership certificates, copies of real estate files, and cadastral map fragments.

Once the application is submitted, citizens must download the mandate and complete the payment. Payments can be made online, at the Albanian Post, or through any second-level bank.
