State Congress holds forum on disability rights and labor inclusion

The State Congress, through its joint commissions on Constitutional Points, Governance, Health, and Social Security, held a consultation forum at the Higher Technological Institute of Valladolid. The event aimed to gather input from people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers regarding regional challenges.

Participants highlighted critical issues including employment access, urban and rural mobility, the costs of medication and therapy, and the need for improved healthcare services in the state's interior. Proposed initiatives discussed include labor inclusion, work leave for medical appointments, accessible notary services, and the strengthening of rehabilitation centers in municipalities such as Valladolid and Chemax.
