State Examination Center announces Azerbaijan exam schedules

The State Examination Center (SEC) has announced schedules and registration details for upcoming civil service and graduation examinations in Azerbaijan.

For civil service, exams for continuing activities in the civil service will be held on October 14, 2026, via computer in Baku and Nakhchivan, with 920 places available. Recruitment exams for the BB position group are scheduled for October 15, 2026. Registration for the BB group exam will take place from September 10 to October 1, 2026.

Regarding academic assessments, the SEC has released the programs for the 2027 graduation exams for both general secondary (9-year) and full secondary (11-year) education levels. The 9-year level will follow the 2026 exam model. For the 11-year level, the foreign language component will test listening comprehension through texts and tasks, reading comprehension through multiple texts, and grammar and lexis through closed-ended tasks. Written tasks will also be used to evaluate the ability to express opinions based on facts. The 2026 exam model will also be applied to Azerbaijani and Russian language and mathematics subjects for the 11-year level.
