State Fair of Texas announces 2026 drone show and music lineup

The 2026 State Fair of Texas, scheduled to run from September 25 to October 18, will feature several new free entertainment options, including a three-night drone show titled ‘Stars of the Fair’. Created by Coppell-based Sky Elements, the drone displays will occur on October 2, 3, and 4, with shows scheduled for approximately 8:15 pm and 9:15 pm.

Other new additions include the ‘Little Lone Stars Land’ children’s area, daily fountain shows at The Esplanade of State, and new exhibitions at the Hall of State. The fair will also host ‘Texas in the Saddle’, an educational horse show, and various stunt comedy and magic performances.

The live music lineup includes nearly 100 artists performing across four stages. The Chevrolet Main Stage has been relocated inside the Fair Park Coliseum and will host headliners such as Clint Black, Kansas, Bowling for Soup, and Gym Class Heroes. Additional stages, including the Bud Light Stage, Ziegenbock Stage, and White Claw Spotlight Stage, will feature a mix of regional, local, and Texas-based musical acts.
