State Fair of Texas announces lower 2026 admission and parking prices

The State Fair of Texas has announced several pricing changes for its 2026 season aimed at increasing affordability for families. Following feedback from the 2025 season, the nonprofit organization is lowering general admission and official parking prices.

Key updates for 2026 include a $2 reduction on all adult daily tickets and a new $10 daily admission rate for children aged 3 through 12. Children aged 2 and younger will continue to receive free admission. Additionally, a $10 admission option will be available for all guests after 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

To further support the community, the fair will continue various charitable promotions. These include the peanut butter drive on Opening Day and ‘Feed the Need Wednesdays,’ where guests can receive $7 admission by donating five canned food items to the North Texas Food Bank. Other scheduled events include ‘Thrilling Tuesdays’ with discounted Midway rides and ‘Thrifty Thursdays’ featuring discounted food items.
