State Fair of Texas concludes 2026 season with 2.1 million visitors

The 2026 State Fair of Texas has concluded its 24-day run, welcoming approximately 2.1 million attendees. The event marked a record-breaking year for fundraising, generating more than $2.7 million for the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and various scholarship programs. The scholarship program alone awarded over $1.2 million in new funds.

In addition to financial contributions, the fair supported local food security through the ‘State Fair Care’ initiative. Vendors donated an estimated 110,655 pounds of food to the North Texas Food Bank.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the organization utilizes proceeds to support agriculture, education, and community projects, including the preservation of Fair Park. Since 2015, the State Fair of Texas has invested more than $92 million into Fair Park projects and experience enhancements.
