State of Mexico anti-corruption system appoints two new committee members
The State Selection Commission (CES) of the Anti-Corruption System of the State of Mexico and Municipalities (SAEMM) has unanimously appointed two new members to its Citizen Participation Committee (CPC).
Rafael Dueñas Hernández was selected for a five-year term running from November 2026 to November 2031. Angélica Espinoza Manjarrez was appointed for a four-year term from October 2026 to October 2030.
The selection process followed several stages, including document review, knowledge evaluations, and public interviews. The process was preceded by five citizen consultation forums held in Toluca, Naucalpan, Valle de Bravo, and Ixtapan de la Sal to gather societal input on the criteria and challenges regarding corruption prevention in the region. Following the call for applications, 26 files were received, leading to a final selection after public hearings.
