State of Mexico Congress launches legislative training programs

The Legislative Studies Institute (Inesle) of the State of Mexico Congress has launched a new program to enhance the technical training of legislative and public management personnel. To support this initiative, Inesle signed a collaboration agreement with the State of Mexico Treasury Institute (IHAEM) to promote professionalization within the Legislative Power.

Starting September 4, the first cohort of the Specialty in Legislative Processes and Political Representation will begin, consisting of 29 students. The program, which is scheduled to conclude by July 17, 2027, will be conducted in a hybrid format. It aims to provide specialized knowledge in parliamentary functions, legislative techniques, constitutional control, and the drafting of legal initiatives and parliamentary documents.

Juan Carlos Villarreal Martínez, Director General of Inesle, emphasized that this training is essential for navigating complex political environments. The collaboration with IHAEM joins existing efforts with the Institute of Public Policies of the State of Mexico and its Municipalities (Iapem) and the Colegio Mexiquense to strengthen public service through academic coordination.
