State Supreme Audits in Mexico: Puebla begins 2025 review, Tamaulipas notes reduced observations

In Tamaulipas, the ASE reported a decrease in the number of observations made to municipal accounts for the 2024 fiscal year, indicating improved financial discipline and transparency at the local level. The head of the ASE, Francisco Noriega Orozco, highlighted that the trend reflects better accountability and follow‑up on administrative responsibilities.
