Stavros Floros files $100M lawsuit against Acun Medya

Stavros Floros, a 22-year-old former contestant on Survivor Greece, has filed a $100 million lawsuit in Florida against the production company Acun Medya. The legal action follows a severe accident during filming in the Dominican Republic.

Floros alleges that while participating in a spearfishing challenge, he was struck by a boat propeller. The accident resulted in the loss of one leg and serious injuries to the other. In interviews, Floros described the experience as 'the worst of his life' and claimed there was a significant lack of safety measures and maritime supervision provided by the production.

The lawsuit further alleges that the production failed to provide adequate emergency medical preparedness and claims that drugs were administered to participants to manage the aftermath of the incident. Acun Medya has issued a statement denying the existence of the lawsuit and the allegations made against the company.
