Stavros Floros' Hospital Video Shows Gratitude After Survivor Accident
On 15 May 2026, 22‑year‑old Stavros Floros, a contestant on Survivor Greece, was struck by a tourist boat while fishing off the coast of Saint Domíniko in the Dominican Republic. The impact caused a partial amputation of his left leg below the knee and serious injury to his right ankle. He was air‑lifted to a military hospital in Miami, USA, where he underwent initial surgery and is scheduled for further treatment.
From his hospital bed, Floros posted a video on Instagram on 17 May, thanking the flood of messages he received and expressing optimism: “Πάνε καλά τα πράγματα, δόξα τω Θεώ.” He gave special thanks to teammate Manos Malliaros, saying “Ευχαριστώ τον Μάνο Μαλλιαρό… Πλέον είσαι οικογένεια για εμένα.”
