Stavros Theodorakis announces departure from politics and hospitality

Journalist Stavros Theodorakis has announced that he will no longer participate in politics or the hospitality industry. Speaking on the program ‘Studio tis 3’ regarding the television return of his show ‘Protagonistes’ to SKAI, Theodorakis stated that his involvement in politics was a second term driven by a desire to be useful to society, while his venture into food was motivated by a personal passion for Cretan cuisine.

He expressed significant dissatisfaction with recent decisions made by television stations, noting that his program’s broadcast time was changed multiple times last season without his consultation. Theodorakis emphasized the personal dedication required for his work and stated that he intends to focus on his journalism through ‘Protagonistes’, his writings for ‘Kathimerini’, and his podcasts.
