Stavros Theodorakis launches new short film series

Stavros Theodorakis has launched a new series of short films titled ‘Protagonistes Mikrou Mithous’ (Short-Length Protagonists), specifically designed for digital consumption on skai.gr.

The series consists of self-contained films ranging from five to ten minutes in length. Rather than traditional interviews, the project utilizes processed monologues where the subjects tell their own stories personally and experientially. Theodorakis serves as the narrator, providing context or additional information without acting as an interlocutor or co-star.

The visual approach combines the subjects' monologues with footage of their daily lives, habits, locations, and archival material to create a secondary layer of storytelling. The themes explore various social aspects, including changing neighborhoods, disappearing professions, and unique human experiences.
