stc Bahrain expands services through PayPal and Iron Mountain partnerships

stc Bahrain, through its digital wallet arm stc pay Bahrain, has signed an agreement with PayPal to embed the global payment network into its platform. The collaboration will let customers in Bahrain send money internationally, targeting expatriates, freelancers and businesses that need fast, secure cross‑border transfers. The move supports Bahrain’s ambition to become a regional fintech hub.

In a separate deal, stc Bahrain announced a strategic partnership with information‑management specialist Iron Mountain. The alliance will combine stc Bahrain’s digital infrastructure with Iron Mountain’s expertise in document digitisation and data governance, offering enterprise customers solutions that improve information security, reduce operational risk and accelerate digital transformation across the Kingdom. Both partnerships are presented as key steps toward a more connected, data‑driven Bahraini economy.
