Sète man recovers stolen phone and twenty others via geolocation

A man in Sète, Hérault, successfully recovered his stolen smartphone and discovered a cache of approximately twenty other stolen devices. After his phone was stolen during the Fête de la Saint-Louis, the victim used geolocation technology to track the device to a location near Béziers, roughly sixty kilometers away.

Upon arriving at the indicated roadside location, the man found a bag hidden in a bush containing his phone along with about twenty others, which appeared to be stolen. The bag was handed over to the Sète police, allowing the mobile phones to be returned to their rightful owners.
