Steakhouse 71, a dining venue located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort within Walt Disney World, experienced an unexpected closure on September 6. The shutdown affected all meal services, including breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Visitors reported that not only was the restaurant unavailable for new bookings, but several guests also discovered that their existing reservations had been abruptly canceled. While some online speculation suggested maintenance issues might be the cause, Disney has not provided an official explanation for the sudden interruption.

The closure appears to be temporary, as Disney’s scheduling system currently lists the restaurant as reopening on September 7.
