Steam adds free games and launches new library‑organising web app

Indie developer tolga tr0n of Dumbbell Games released Dustpile, a free web app that lets Steam users sort their pending game list with a Tinder‑style swipe interface. Users paste a public Steam profile link, view each title as a card with cover art, genre, price, Metacritic score and estimated playtime, then swipe right to keep or left to discard. The tool, available in 12 languages, can export curated lists in JSON or share them via link, and includes a wishlist mode. Within hours Dustpile recorded about 165,000 swipes and added new themes and features.

Steam also announced four new free‑to‑play titles that are now permanently available on the platform: the open‑world RPG "NTE: Neverness to Everness," the fast‑paced indie MMORPG "Battle For Embolia," the incremental RPG "Archmage Idle," and the precision platformer "Fleck & Grus." These games expand the free catalog for PC gamers without any payment required.
