Steam adds Greenhouse: Schism to permanent free game lineup

Developer Volpanic! announced that Greenhouse: Schism, a 2D action‑platform game released in 2025 for €7, is now free on Steam after low sales. The game, praised by reviewers, features spell upgrades, multiple boss fights, hidden secrets and a New Game+ mode.

On the same day, Steam also released four additional titles as permanent freebies: WinBolo, a multiplayer tank arena for up to 16 players; Laira Cut Me Open, a 2D interactive story about a woman's trauma; Captain Soda Prologue, an arcade platformer where soda‑powered weapons fight alien foes; and CryptoGrid, a click‑simulation empire‑building game. These additions expand Steam's ongoing free‑game promotions.
