Steam Deck and SteamOS reach 30,000 Verified and Playable games

Valve has reached a milestone for the Steam Deck and SteamOS, with over 30,000 games now receiving official Verified or Playable ratings. According to SteamDB data, this total includes 8,939 Verified titles and 21,067 Playable titles. The count also encompasses delisted games that remain accessible to previous purchasers.

Recent additions to the compatible library include the AAA prequel Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and various indie titles such as the multiplayer fighter Smack Talk and the 3D action-platformer GAWR GURA: QUEST FOR BREAD. Other notable releases include the roguelike city-builder COMBOLANDS.

While the Proton compatibility layer allows many unrated games to function, some publishers continue to use anti-cheat software that restricts Linux-based platforms. Observers note that Valve's formal rating system still faces challenges regarding performance consistency, as some Verified titles may still experience low frame rates or resolution issues.
