Steam Deck reaches milestone of 30,000 compatible games

Valve’s Steam Deck has reached a significant milestone, with more than 30,000 games now officially verified or playable on the handheld console. According to data from SteamDB, this represents a massive increase from the approximately 3,000 compatible titles available shortly after the device's launch in May 2022.

The library is divided into two main categories: nearly 9,000 games carry the ‘Verified’ badge, ensuring optimal performance and controller compatibility, while over 21,000 titles are classified as ‘Playable,’ meaning they function but may require manual setting adjustments or keyboard input.

In terms of specific performance, titles like Capcom’s Onimusha: Way of the Sword have been tested on the device. While the game can experience frame rate fluctuations between 30 and 60 fps depending on the area and settings like FSR 3 upscaling, it remains a functional experience for handheld play.
