Steam games potentially blocked in Turkey
An investigation by the Freedom of Expression Association, conducted under the EngelliWeb project, suggests that approximately 45 games may have been blocked on the Steam storefront in Turkey.
Among the titles identified as potentially inaccessible are three Postal games, Poppy Playtime, and Rockstar Games titles including Bully: Scholarship Edition and Manhunt. While some of these games contain mature content or themes such as bullying, there has been no official government or corporate statement regarding these restrictions.
Currently, access to the Steam pages for these games remains possible, as Valve has not yet implemented a block from their end. However, users may encounter age verification screens for certain titles like Manhunt. The full list of the 45 games has not yet been released.
