Steam indie games: shu3 announces new mystery title and Touhou roguelite launches

Several new indie titles have been announced or released on the Steam platform.

Game creator and streamer shu3 has announced a new mystery adventure game titled ‘Death Game Report’ (デスゲームの報告書), scheduled for release on September 1. The game tasks players with reconstructing records from a death game held on a deserted island by identifying the cause of death, the weapon used, and the perpetrator for each victim using clues such as student rosters and island maps. The title features a retro-style text-based UI.

Additionally, ‘Internet Survivor Survivors’ (インターネットサバイバーサバイバーズ), a top-down roguelite action game based on the music of Beat Mario’s circle COOL&CREATE, was released on August 16. The game is a Touhou Project fan work where players control the character Flandre Scarlet to survive in an internet-themed environment by maintaining a high viewer count.
