Steam launches Party-Based RPG Fest

Steam has launched the ‘Party-Based RPG Fest’, a digital event dedicated to role-playing games centered on managing groups of characters. The festival, hosted by Valve, highlights titles where players control multiple heroes, manage level progression, and engage in tactical combat and exploration. The event is currently active on the Steam store and will run until September 21.

As part of the festival, indie publisher Raw Fury has released a demo for Dungeon Automata. The game is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler and auto-battler that utilizes a programming-style logic system. Instead of direct turn-based commands, players use nodes and conditional logic to dictate how their four-hero team behaves during encounters. While the demo is available now, the full version of the game is expected to release in 2026.
